STAR Group provided all the electrical, communications and security services on the project which involved works to the entire building, including end of trip facilities, car park and loading dock alterations, York St Awning, balcony upgrade, external glazing, fire stairs, lift lobbies, new amenities on each floor, the dental care centre and eye care centre.
Star Group’s services provided on the project included:
- Low voltage electrical services, including supplies to mechanical, hydraulic fire services equipment and panels
- Lighting system, including control system and emergency escape lighting and exit signs
- Communications and data services
- Security services, including interface with the Otis Compass DMS Version 3 lift management system
- Distribution boards including connection to the existing meter panels and associated electrical infrastructure
- MATV services including splitters on each floor
- UPS services, input and output boards and associated submains for Data Centre including rack power for Date Centre
- Specialist “body protect services in all dental areas; and
- Metering for BCA and Green Star monitoring.
