Star Group delivered the Low Voltage (LV) electrical services package for the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC) at Kemps Creek, Western Sydney.
Engaged by John Holland for this major Sydney Water infrastructure project, Star Group provided the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of extensive LV electrical, communications and instrumentation systems. The AWRC is a significant water recycling facility designed to support the growing Western Sydney Aerotropolis and surrounding communities, producing high-quality recycled water for environmental and future reuse applications.
The facility is designed to treat wastewater flows of up to 35ML/day during Stage 1, with future upgrades increasing capacity to 70ML/day. Supplied via a 22kV high-voltage network with a 400V low-voltage reticulation system, the project required the integration of complex power distribution, communications, process control and site-wide safety systems to support the delivery of critical water infrastructure.
