The Malabar Wastewater Treatment plant treats 635,000 properties across 500 square kilometers and is the largest primary waste water treatment plant in Australia. The catchment area reaches from Malabar to Blacktown and south to Campbelltown, which, on average, equates to 470ml/day of waste water.

Star Group provided the electrical services of the project, which incorporates services that equips the Wastewater Treatment plant with appropriate process capability, reliability and operability to ensure its compliance with current EPA licence requirements to 2031, and ensure the continued protection of beach water quality.
