The Warrawee Substation Development project consists of the upgrade of electrical supply within the rail corridor between Warrawee and Turramurra Railway Stations, as part of Transport for NSW's Power Supply Upgrade Program. This project is designed to support the new fleet of air-conditioned trains and expected power requirements for Sydney's future rail network.

Star Group provided the electrical, communications and high voltage works of the project, which involved services for the construction, fencing and landscaping of the new substation in the rail corridor and the relocation of existing services and utilities.

Star Group’s services provided on the project included:

  • Substation Electrical Works
  • Rail Signalling
  • SCADA
  • Communications; and
  • Mechanical, Fire and Security works.
