Star Group were engaged by the principal contractor, Built to deliver the electrical, communications (ICT), security and aviation power integration works for Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the BAE Systems Australia Williamtown facility.

Stage 1 requires the South Hangar to be re-fitted from two service bays to six for the projected service and maintenance demand of the Royal Australian Air Force's F-35A Lightning II fleet and Stage 2 involves the expansion of the North Hangar to accommodate an additional 7 service bays and washdown area to further enhance the BAE Williamtown facility, also for the maintenance needs of the Royal Australian Air Force's F-35A Lightning II fleet.
