Last Thursday, Star Group held our annual International Women's Day Networking Initiative, a forum designed to strengthen internal connections and spark meaningful conversations across our organisation.
The day brought together employees and apprentices from Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra for a program centred on leadership, lived experiences and shared learning. We heard valuable insights from the Q&A Panel comprising members of Star Group's Senior Management Team, who spoke openly about leadership, growth and the importance of continuing to support and develop our female workforce across the organisation.
We also had the privilege of hearing from our female-led panel, who discussed key topics such as work–life balance, women’s health journeys and the real experiences women navigate both personally and professionally in the workplace environment.
The conversations were honest, inspiring, and a powerful reminder of the strength found in shared stories. We look forward to continuing these conversations and strengthening the support systems that were created on the day.
