What we do
STAR Group provide complete communication design, installation and commissioning of structured cabling systems and fibre optic cabling systems, including mobile phone/DAS, MATV and integrated network solutions.
Formally known as Commstar, STAR Group's team of communications experts are accredited with all major global cabling vendors and has extensive experience creating solutions for fit out, and new build projects in all major industries including health, education, residential, corporate, commercial, defence, government and retail. Our level of understanding and capability in the area enables us to create innovative and future-proof solutions that are integrated with building systems and enhance the experience of end users. STAR Group is also a corporate member of BICSI South Pacific.
STAR Group provides specialist communications and data solutions to all the sectors we service, including but not limited to:
- Design, supply and install complete structured cabling systems, including issuing the client with vendor warranty and certification documents. Warranty periods can range from 15-25 years for new installations depending on the vendor
- Test, identify and provide reports for existing cabling systems
- Repair/replace cabling systems to match existing installation and to the highest quality standards; and
- Replace parts and components of a faulty installation
