A civil engineer by profession, Jim is the son of the Star Group's founder the late John Andrews. Joining the business some 35 years ago as a project engineer, Jim provides much of his father's strengths by designing and implementing the growth strategies which resulted in Star Group's leading status today. Jim continues to look to the future for new opportunities and talent to ensure the continued prosperity of the Star Group and employees alike.
Joining the Star Group as an apprentice some 44 years ago, Geoff has a vested interest in upholding Star Group's impeccable record and reputation. In the industry, and as his role as managing director, Geoff is renown for his experience, dedication, loyalty and strong ethics. Geoff has developed strong relationships with leading building contractors, developers and consultants within the industries Star Group service. These relationships have been forged over time and are founded on his dedication to delivering projects of the highest standard.
Originally an apprentice of the Star Group, Sandy is now responsible for control and management, industrial relations and training. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Sandy left Star Group to join the NSW Department of Health where he managed the rollout of IT technologies and data centre consolidation, before returning in 2005 as Operations Manager. Sandy was made a director of the Star Group in 2016.
35 Years of experience within the electrical and communications industry, Chris has been working with Star since 2009. Managing a team of 75, he has consistently delivered projects that enhance the Star Group’s reputation as an industry leader. Having worked on key projects including Royal North Shore Hospital for which Chris’ team have been credited as efficient and quality solutions. Chris continues to uphold these credentials in his next endeavours. Chris was made a director of the Star Group in 2016.
